Assessment requests

When you request an assessment, we collect your first and last name, email address, and city and state. You may also provide your business name, website URL, type of business, position, and a short description of the problem or opportunity. Please leave sensitive documents and confidential details out of the first request.

We use your request to review whether we can help, do relevant homework, contact you about next steps, and manage any assessment that follows. We send an acknowledgment and may email you about an assessment, an NDA, payment instructions, or an appointment. If you proceed, we may also keep business-verification notes, agreed terms, NDA documents and completed-form status, payment references and status, and booking details. Access to assessment records is restricted to our reviewer workflow.

Where information goes

Vercel hosts the website and processes requests to it. Assessment records, including submitted form fields and later assessment materials, are stored in a Neon-managed PostgreSQL database. We use an SMTP email service to send assessment correspondence; our production setup uses Resend. Email messages and attachments sent through that service are handled by the service and the recipient’s email provider. We may disclose information when needed to operate these services or meet legal obligations.

Security and abuse prevention

We check requests and limit repeated submissions, sign-ins, and bookings. The assessment system keeps a SHA-256 hash of an IP address supplied by a trusted proxy for these limits; if that address is unavailable or untrusted, requests use a shared fallback key instead. We store those keys with request and rate-limit records. The private reviewer sign-in uses an essential, secure session cookie; this is separate from public-page analytics.

Calculators

Calculator inputs and saved settings are kept in your browser’s localStorage, not submitted as assessment requests or uploaded by the calculators. You can clear them by clearing this site’s browser storage. Visiting a calculator page may still produce the website analytics described below.

Public-page analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics on public pages to understand visits. It provides aggregated counts for page views, referring sites, and approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel Web Analytics does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies for this purpose. It is not used on private reviewer or assessment-booking pages, and we do not send assessment form values as analytics events.

Retention and your questions

We keep assessment information and related correspondence as needed to handle requests, appointments, ongoing work, and operational or legal requirements. There is no fixed deletion period promised here. To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email ops@greysman.com. We will review your request in light of the records we hold and applicable requirements.
